Replacing your standard Bus,Coach and Truck conventional exterior mirrors with our E-mirror camera system
--Increasing safety and reducing cost
Trucks, because of their large body size and higher driving position than other vehicles, have particularly problematic blind spots that pose a major safety hazard. These blind spots may include the rear, sides and front of the vehicle, and drivers cannot fully see these areas directly through their mirrors or side view mirrors. Particularly when turning, changing lanes or reversing, a truck's blind spots can hide pedestrians, bicycles or other vehicles, which can increase the risk of a crash, so measures need to be taken to address the problem.
Conventional mirrors can be installed to assist driving and address some of these blind spots. The driver observes the rear of the vehicle through the image reflected by the mirror, but the field of view is relatively narrow and limited by the mirror angle, which cannot completely cover the entire area behind the truck. The driver must rely on adjusting the angle of the mirror to obtain a more comprehensive view, but certain angles may still not be able to avoid the existence of blind spots.
So in order to improve driver safety and driving efficiency, electronic mirrors can be installed to replace traditional mirrors. Our short and long arm rear view cameras can be adapted to all truck models or buses by mounting them on the outer head frame and connecting them to a display located on the A-pillar inside the vehicle. The system provides real-time images or video to help the driver see in areas that are normally not directly visible, especially in blind spots.
The camera is much smaller than the original externally mounted mirrors, thus providing improved aerodynamics, reduced drag and fuel consumption. Over the course of a year's long haul, this could potentially save thousands of dollars in costly driving. Thanks to the E-Mirror Camera System, drivers no longer have to look too far to the right or left to see traffic behind them, and the camera always captures an image of the end of the vehicle when turning or reversing, providing an unobstructed view that makes it easier to spot cyclists or other vehicles, which can be especially useful at intersections, manoeuvres and sharp turns.
Unlike conventional mirrors which tend to fog up and get dirty, our cameras are better protected as they are mounted high up on the vehicle and have a small roof and waterproof coating above the camera lens, which not only ensures excellent visibility but is also less likely to get dirty than lower glass mirrors in this position. What's more, it comes with a WDR function that captures details in both bright and dark areas of a scene shot under different lighting conditions, such as day and night, indoors and outdoors, ensuring that the entire picture is well exposed, thus improving image quality and visibility.
In addition, there is no need to worry about the "mirror" being covered in dirt or obscured by dirty side windows, as the electronic mirror monitor is mounted inside the vehicle in line with the roof pillars, allowing the driver to view the images displayed on the monitor from the most comfortable seating position.
The monitor screen has an automatic brightness adjustment function, which means that during the day or in high light conditions, the screen automatically increases its brightness to maintain clear visibility, while at night or in low light conditions it decreases the brightness to avoid blinding or blinding the driver's vision. By eliminating the need to manually adjust the screen brightness, you are able to focus more on the road and the driving process, improving driving safety.
Our E-mirror monitors also support daul loop recording DVR, which provides real-time recordings that can be used as evidence in the event of an accident or dispute, helping fleets to resolve liability issues and reduce the risk of litigation. It can also help monitor vehicle operating conditions and performance. By regularly analysing data from cameras and electronic mirrors, vehicle problems can be identified and resolved in a timely manner, improving vehicle care and maintenance management. By better managing driving behaviour, reducing accidents and increasing vehicle life, fleets can save on insurance costs, maintenance costs and fuel expenses.
